Ribonuclease T1 forms a nucleoside 2, 3-cyclic phosphate intermediate to cleave the phosphodiester bond between the 3-guanosine residue and the 5-OH group of the adjacent nucleoside to produce a 3-GMP-terminated oligonucleotide. This product does not contain ingredients of animal origin[1].
